Joshua Tree
by matt on Sep.14, 2011, under photos
September 13-14th, my Available Light Class and I went to Joshua Tree for a field trip. After meeting up with the class at about 7pm, the drinking began and so did the photo taking. A fair amount of Jack and a few beers later, these are the results. There are some long exposures taken in the pitch black night and there are others taken in the morning.

I took some photos of my niece, Malvina, at Disneyland Grand Hotel. My brother Stephen and his wife Stephanie got married at the gazebo at Disneyland, so it was fitting we take pictures of their daughter Malvina there for her birthday.
Time to break in my lighting equipment…

Today I finally got around to using my new strobe set. A friend of mine has a friend who is pregnant and is due any day now. She wanted some photos done before the baby comes, so I stepped in to help out. It has been a while since I have done studio lighting type work, but after a bit of use I got a few decent shots. Here is my favorite of the bunch. More to come later… *updated*
Photo Books

While cleaning out my house I came across tons of old books that I had no reason to keep. No one was interested in them for garage sales, so I decided I would find a way to put them to use. Semi interactive wall art photo books.
